 ity.\n\nFulfilling these requirements for the largest bank in the Czech Rep
 ublic with almost 200 years of history was not easy. Our data used to 
 be gathered manually, went over multiple legacy system migrations&nbsp
 ;in the past, and is nowadays stored in more than 40 so
 urce systems.\n\nTo successfully achieve the data quality required by the r
 egulator, we had to develop a robust end-to-end solution, consist
 ing not only of a Data Governance and DQ tool but also DQ processes and a p
 erforming Data Stewards network. We decided not to customize any 
 available vendor’s framework or toolstack, but instead, develop 
 it all in-house, based on our real needs and best practices.

 d to describe mistakes and detours on our five-year journey of improving ou
 r data and processes around them.\n
