In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, DATAVERSITY will be requiring one of the following from every attendee upon arrival at the conference: 1) proof of full vaccination verified through the third-party application CLEAR (at no cost to the attendee) OR 2) proof of a negative test taken no more than 72 hours prior to arrival at the conference.

If providing option 1 (proof of vaccination), individuals must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the start date of the event. For purposes of this Policy, “fully vaccinated” means 14 days have passed since the individual received the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine or the first dose of a single dose vaccine. If providing option 2 (proof of a negative test), it must be a COVID-19 PCR test taken within 3 days (72 hours) of onsite arrival.

In accordance with current San Diego County guidelines, face coverings (masks) are not required indoors if you are fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, masks are required indoors. This policy may be adjusted in accordance with the city, county, or state requirements in effect at the time of the conference. At all times, individuals are welcome to manage their own risk by wearing a mask indoors and/or outdoors.

These policies are based upon guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) and public health authorities of the State of California and the County of San Diego. Individuals who do not comply with these policies will be denied participation in DGIQ 2022 and may be removed from the event. NOTE: If conditions around COVID-19 change such that stricter protocols are required by any health authority, then we will notify attendees immediately. For more details, please see our FAQs page.

DATAVERSITY cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19 or any other communicable disease, and will not be held liable for any instances of infection or illness for any participants who attend the events. Exhibitor shall indemnify the Indemnified Parties against all Claims by Exhibitor’s employees and guests arising out of or related to infection with COVID-19, whether before, during, or after attendance at the Event.

Discounts and Fees

Group Discounts: Register three or more team members and everyone gets 33% off! It's like getting every 3rd registration for free. To register your group online, select at least three registration options from the menu above, and the discount will automatically be applied. No coupon is necessary.

If you wish to register a group of more than 10 for a single registration type, please contact the Registration Team at registration@dataversity.net for assistance.

Please note: Group members must be with the same organization and register at the same time. There is no limit to your group size.

Professional Membership Discounts: Members of the Data Governance Professionals Organization (DGPO) and/or DAMA are entitled to a discount on their registration fees. Please contact registration@dataversity.net for details.

Academic Discounts: Academic discounts are available for full-time faculty and students at accredited institutions. For questions about rates or to apply, email registration@dataversity.net.

Registration Cut-Off

Due to the verification procedures required, registration will close at the end of the day on Friday, June 3, 2022. All new registrations must take place on or before that date.

Speakers: You will receive registration instructions in your Speaker Confirmation email.

Exhibitors and Sponsors: You will receive detailed instructions on how to register in your Exhibit and Sponsor kit.

Speaker Replacement or Cancellation

Please understand that agenda adjustments may occur due to changes in the availability of speakers, especially with evolving COVID-19 conditions and travel limitations. If a speaker must cancel their participation, DATAVERSITY will make every possible attempt to find a replacement on the same or similar topic. Alternatively, if the speaker is scheduled to make a conference presentation but is unable to travel due to prevailing COVID-19 conditions, we may attempt to conduct that presentation remotely. All agenda adjustments will be published at the earliest possible opportunity.

COVID-19 Protocols

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received by May 20, 2022, will be fully refunded. Cancellations on or after May 21, 2022, will not be entitled to a refund but can receive credit to a future event through 2023. To cancel your registration, please email registration@dataversity.net. Confirmed registrants who do not attend and do not cancel in writing are liable for the entire registration fee. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.

If DATAVERSITY is forced to cancel or postpone the event for any reason on or after May 20, 2022, no refunds will be made. Instead, a registration credit will be offered for future events through 2023.

Please Note: This cancellation and refund policy does not apply for registrations that used a past event credit, including those that have been transferred from the rescheduled 2020 events.
